A lotta grease and sugar and a bit of wax and fun

We planned on having a party in the park for Little Man this year. We, personally, are not fans of outsourcing birthday parties which is very common in our neck of the woods -- to us it is uneccessarily expensive and elaborate (although we still go!). Our favorite birthday parties have been some of the most simple. However, a few weeks ago, I noticed that soccer season started the day we had picked out as Little Man's birthday party. It was a good thing we changed, because that day was the third in a streak of rain that we are still experiencing! Big Daddy swooped in and saved the day by giving Little Man a Ronald McDonald extravaganza at his favorite McDonalds. The party was a success and we appreciate everyone for coming!! Congratulations Little Man, you are finally 5 -- he thought the day would never come.
