Labor Day Beach Blast

After spring break, when we came home from the beach, we realized we probably wouldn't be able to get back until Labor Day with schedules and other vacation plans. We looked forward to this one all summer... the forecast called for rain each day we were there, but we only experienced it around the hotel and both days at the beach were almost picture perfect. The Monday was spent back at the Johnson Space Center in H town. This time we knew to leave lots of time for the kids -- everywhere we went. Thanks to Big Daddy to patiently letting us sleep in each day as well.

Here is my TOP 5 FAVS from this vacation:
5. My roomy LeSportSac (because the Coach doesn't belong at the beach).
4. Garmin Nuvi (Big Daddy humors us by listening to this even if it does tell us to constantly make turns "onto the Federated States of Micronesia" -- in our state we have highways titled "FM" proceeding the number of the highway, this FM stands for "farm to market road", but our Garmin thought it was Federated Micronesia).
3. Dinners at CiCi's Pizza Buffet because everyone gets what they want -- even those who love the macaroni and cheese pizza (who me???).
2. New wireless headsets for kid's entertainment system -- so Mom and Dad could enjoy what could be received on the radio through the hill country.
1. Our Odyssey (this was her maiden voyage to the beach and we cruised in comfort).
