When school began this last fall, I was so worried about sending my baby away, but he did as he always does and rose to the occasion. He now knows how to write his name, his numbers and letters and is even reading some words. In addition, he is loving to "draw." We have finally figured out that he is left-handed, but does quite well with his right, if needed. I know he will miss his wonderful teacher because he told us recently that he wished his preschool teacher could be his kindergarten teacher as well.
He is really looking forward to summer with mixed emotions. He knows he will enjoy swimming, continued Kung Fu classes, and family vacations; however, in his words, "we gotta get shots, too."
