We couldn't resist heading back down to the coast when we all had last Friday off. We hurried down arriving late Thursday night and returned late Sunday, or really, very early Monday morning. It was the first time I've not been in church for Easter and I will admit I missed it, but since our family vacations have been few and far between until now, we savored the time to get away. We played at the beach, toured the Texas Sea Museum (free admission!!), explored neighboring beaches and spent the day at the Space Center Museum in Houston (NOT free admission!! -- but a small upgrade from a daily to an annual family pass which will no doubt be used many times).
