A Field Trip

Tonight we headed over to Farmers Branch to see my violin teacher and her husband perform with the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra at Brookhaven College. The LBJ is down to one lane with construction, so we headed out extra early so as not to be late. We left so early in fact that we arrived in Farmer's Branch in time to enjoy some McDonald's (Sr. McFlury with Rolo how you seduce me!). The concert was great, the kids were great and the drive home was fast. We've never taken the kids to such a concert, but it's good to know we can and that they appreciate good music!!
