Summer

We finally had a patch of summer...no summer school enrichment classes, no swimming lessons...really nothing; no schedule, no routine. I do much better staying organized with a routine, but the kids had a ball enjoying the change-up.


This has something to do with race car driving.

This was a trip to our favorite mall in Dallas.
It's hard to believe that Tiny Toes is almost too tall to play in these little areas.

And this was a skating birthday party for a neighborhood friend.
Both kids did very well on skates and made good progress. Tiny Toes was skating with help, but without the wall, by the time we left and Little Man was doing a great job keeping both feet facing forward. That day I really could have used a less hands-on party, but thanks to Big Daddy, both kids were able to skate around until they were pooped!
